Computing at School (CAS) was a non profit organisation set up to build up the subject of Computer Science and Digital Literacy in the UK . Backed by Microsoft, Google, Raspberry Pi, BT, BCS and the UK Government, the initiative took off in the early 2010's and allowed specialist teachers to become Master Teachers. In 2017, I was lucky enough to be granted the privilege of doing so and founded the Luton Central Hub where teachers would engage in discussions around the Computer Science Landscape and Curricular.
Since 2019, the government granted funding to this excellent foundation and ultimately the National Centre for Computing Education was born. In 2019, I was once again invited to become a facilitator enabling the delivery of NCCE CPD across the UK.
