Microsoft BAME Winners

In 2015 & 2016 I was lucky enough to take students to Microsoft HQ in Reading to take part in an app design contest.

This was a once in a lifetime opportunity for students in that they were able to visit the headquarters of one of the biggest tech companies in the world. Not only that but at the end were invited to apply for an internship once the event was complete.

Both visits to Microsoft HQ for the BAME event resulted in victories for my students and needless to say they never forgot this experience.

It is through experiences like this that ambition, passion, resilience and a life long love of a subject can be born.

Indeed after this event, many of the students involved ended up studying Computer Science at university.
